Products purchased by private persons (i.e., consumer purchasers) directly from our Yubico webstore are eligible to be returned within 45 days of receipt. In order to start the return process, please contact our Customer Support team.
How do I receive my RMA number?
Once we receive your request, our team will provide you with the appropriate return address, which includes your RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
On the package containing the products you are returning, please make sure that the return address and RMA number provided to you are clearly printed on the package.
The returned items must be received by Yubico within 30 days from the date that the RMA is granted.
We will process your refund within 14 business days of receiving your return.
*Please note that the return instructions apply only to Yubico products purchased online at Yubico.com. If you have purchased Yubico products through other online channels, such as Amazon or a Yubico reseller, you should contact Amazon or the reseller directly for their return instructions.
- There is no restocking fee for the return of up to 9 keys.
- A 10% restocking fee will be applied for the return of 10 or more keys.
- A 10% restocking fee will be applied for the return of any number of YubiHSMs.
Shipping fees and borders/customs/duties fees will not be refunded. The customer is responsible for paying the return postage.
Returning discounted orders
Products that were purchased with a promotional discount or in a bundle with a discount will be fairly refunded.
E.g. Yubico offers an online special (two YubiKeys with a $10 discount). (2) YubiKey 5 NFC (Normally $45 each) = $90 $80. The customer returns one of the YubiKeys which was part of the special bundled offer. The customer will receive a refund of $35. This reflects a purchase of one YubiKey 5 NFC at its normal price, as the order is no longer eligible for the discounted price.
