Was my order successfully placed?

Once your order has been successfully captured by our system you will be redirected to an order confirmation page. This page will contain the details of the order you just placed. Please verify that these details are correct. You will also receive an order confirmation email that will include your order information, sent to the email address provided. Your selected method of payment may show a “pending charge” or “charge”, at the discretion of your financial institution. 


You’ll know that an order placed with Yubico is successful when you receive an email confirmation after the order has been processed. If you don’t receive the email confirmation please check your spam/junk folders. If your email is incorrect then you will not receive the email confirmation. Please contact customer support if you are unable to locate your email confirmation. 

Error at Checkout - Error message

Sometimes you can receive an error message at checkout in red stating “Error at Checkout”. If you receive an error at check out, you may see a charge on your account. This is most likely a "hold" and will be released within a few days. Here are some common reasons why an error at checkout may occur:

  • Does your billing address match the billing address associated with your card? 
  • Do you have sufficient funds on your card? 
  • Your bank may be refusing authorization due to their fraud prevention system. Contact your bank to authorize payment. 
  • Are you using a prepaid card? If so, confirm that the billing address matches what is associated with your card. 


Failed transactions - Pending charges

For failed transactions, pending authorizations will typically be removed from your account in 3-5 business days. Please note that this is dependent on your financial institution. If you have not received an order confirmation email but have a pending transaction, please reach out to your financial institution.


If charges are still present on your card after the fifth business day, then please submit a support ticket and include the email address used to place the order.
